There's just something so different about Preppy style. Whether it be Oxford shirts, bright chinos and Italian made loafers, it's a style you don't come across every day - at least not in the South of UK. I love how clean and laid back, yet so smart the style is. 

I first got in to the style after sitting through episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and seeing how Scott Disick dressed himself so well. Whether it be Polo shirts from Ralph Lauren or custom made suits from Paul Stuart. 

I then got more in to the style and starting reading Take Ivy and The Preppy Handbook, and also Frederick Castlberry's Unabashedly Prep blog (were I pinched these pictures from). 

After reading these two books I started getting more and more in to the Ivy style because of how classic and different it is. I also love how no one else (that I know of) dresses like it, it has a huge unique element to it which is also what I love.
